Ted Murphy Looks Like His Dog!
Thursday, July 23rd, 2009I was browsing around my buddy Ted Murphy‘s blog today and came across an article he recently wrote about the importance of imagery and design in building a brand. Ted writes:
“While your logo and blog design are your most important graphical assets you can’t forget about supporting assets like photos. I am amazed by how many big name bloggers have crappy headshots or no headshot at all.”
Ted is absolutely right. You have to figure out what it is that is unique about yourself and/or brand and be bold in your marketing strategy. You don’t have to be as crazy or colorful as Ted is, you just need to take the time to develop a memorable persona and/or distinguishable brand.
Hell, Ted even seems to be channeling his dog, Bonzo, in his new promotional headshots. The resemblance is uncanny! Now, that’s BOLD!
