I Cannot Believe This Video From Audience Conference Is On The Interwebs!

I was up in NYC this past weekend learning from some of the best minds in the tech and social media world at Audience Conference, hosted by Loren Feldman (@1938media) and Anton Mannering (@antonmannering). The event was held at the beautiful Hudson Theater and The Roger Smith Hotel (@RSHotel) in midtown Manhattan. I was utterly impressed with how different this event was from others like it. Loren said it best:

Audience Conference was a true reflection of it’s host; bold, brash, and unique. All the bullshit was eliminated. No tweeting. No laptops. No video. No long-winded speakers. No fluff. No swag bags. And no riffraff. In keeping with the tone of the event… that’s about all I’m going to tell you. If you weren’t there you missed out big time. it was truly a gathering of friends laughing, sharing, exploring, learning, and networking. We were pretty much just enjoying each other and the common bond we all share. It was all about the audience! How to build an audience, how to engage an audience, how to sustain an audience, how to challenge an audience, how to mobilize an audience, I could go on… We are all trying to gain an audience in one way or another.

I loved getting to chat with people in unstuffy social settings and interacting on a different level. It was a really good vibe. I felt like I was part of some secret fraternity. It was an honor just to be there. We had an absolute blast!
